OK Mathue, looks as though NBC have moved it since I posted that link. From the main Feedroom screen, you need to select 'Video Vault' from the jumpbox in the top left-hand corner. Keep clicking the button marked 'More' until Pennhurst Parts 1, 2 & 3 appear down the left-hand side of the screen. At the moment the first segment is around number 40 but I suspect that it will drop further down the list as new items are added. Good luck!

I don't think Marcia (or anyone else) was commenting about you, m'dear Puddleboy; I think we are all frustrated about people getting into the "bathos" mode without checking out how related it is to reality. As noted a billion times hence; yes, bad, bad things happened there and many, many other places (and still do to this day, maybe even in the house next to you - gasp!), but some people seem to want to use that as an excuse to take everything associated with Pennhurst and self-righteously "emotionally bleed" all over the place. I think some folks get their kicks from being shocked and outraged (but only at a safe distance, mind you), which disturbs me almost as much as the original problems that occurred.

My belief is that if people are willing to DO something about it they can "bleed" all they want, but if not, most of us would prefer that they politely shut the hell up and quit making judgments without all the facts.

But wait - one day I'll tell y'all how I REALLY feel about this. ;-)

Ive been to pennhurst 3 times and the third time i was just to enter the administration but we heard something creeping and coming down the steps from inside the building

this stuff in there almost reminded me of one flew over the cuckoos nest it was crazy

It looks like you can see marks on the wall where there used to be dividers. They must have been removed some time ago.

What a waste. They could use these in those bathrooms that didn't have any toilet paper (LOL)

My guess is that these are broken typewritters, that were never repaired, or were stored for parts

Talk about "Big Brother is watching you'', I first thought it was some kind of 'zoom-a-tenna' gadget, that moved the outside antenna around so the patients could watch 'sporadic e' during the summer.
