I slept in a bed that looked just like this (small-adult size) until I was 8. I do not know where it came from, but it had something to do with my grandfather. There were lots of blankets and stuffed things for me though. I liked it because I had a habit of falling out of bed --- and my parents thought this better than a matt on the floor, though I in retrospect diagree.

triage nurse,

Must have been a lot of money going into that project.

My town got a batch of sexual deviants with no supervision whatsoever. And definitely more than 3. Ho-hum.

That looks so neat. i want to go in it, but i wouldnt know how to find anything with all the diff. buildings..but good shot for sure!
i take care of middle aged people who spent 23 out of 24 hours in these cribs having been sent there at 5,6, 7.... the records we have recently found state they were in these cribs for 23 hours a day, and were muffed and shackled for days/ weeks for screaming and being disruptive. Imagine being 6, in this , and not being able to make any noise, or you were restrained for god knows how long. just think about that..... yea, they were kind and loving people that worked there.
to sonya... i am a nurse for some of these wonderful people. My organization assisted with deinstitutionalization. We bought houses in ne philly, 1-3 people live in a regular house with our staff there 24-7. Thank God, they have wonderful lives. We go to Norristown State Hospital frequently to review the trashed records to find out their histories. It is the saddest thing i have ever done.
