Motts, thanks for the new post. Love all your photos. Pennhurst esp. It has a very very sad history. Its one of those places I just can't turn my eye's away from. Its a shame about the Halloween haunt. I do hope that that money is to persevere the location and its history. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos as always!! Look forward to more of your postings.

Very much like a Hilton, compared to the rusty bed in the basement.

Mr. Motts I bet the one thing you have never found left behind was an employee's last paycheck. They leave suddenly and forever. Great Photo!

Wait, I missed something... Are lights the new soap dispensers?

Ah, now the glass block makes sense to me. Yes, it was meant to allow light in, but, to keep things private during surgeries here.

Hmm, a red light bulb is still in the socket there, to make the Exit light up red, maybe?

It looks as if it could be shortened or lengthened to accommodate the size of a patient that needed that bed?

Look at the rust line, under the foot board of the bed. That bed has not moved in a very long time for that to happen like that.

Toot, you sound like Indiana Jones there. ^_^

I wonder how many patients were transported on that, during the time this place was open. And what was their condition too, as in, alive or had they expired? It is sad to think like that, but, it happened there.
