LucieLou, the streaks in the sky are stars; the exposure times at night are so long, that the rotation of the earth creates these star trail effects. The North Star is the only one that won't streak because it's on the rotation axis. More can be found here: http://www.opacity.us/...17220747261696c7322/

The sad thing is I am sure a lot of the dead made it into a plain pine box in a numbered grave in potters field.

Looks so opposing and evil. Lurking out of the fog. I can't imagine walking up too this place. What would be going though your mind I have no idea.

Looks like this building is saying

"No hope lives here..."

Truly a shot worth a million words Motts, you captured the mood and nightmares if this facility perfectly.

This Pic is mind blowing, there is definately a sense of vertigo. The more I ponder, it is reminicent of mental illness in a way, the akimbo wires, the angles, the disrepair and clutter, and the final the decent into blackness... It is so beautiful I dont think I will ever forget this picture!

Ditto AD Nilsen. I don't know what it is about this set. I seem to be a Chatty Cathy about these particular photos and I usually favor the interior shots over the exterior ones. Go figure.

WOW. Looks like the proverbial defiant little building that wouldn't budge so they built the bigger building around it.

Motts. If any of your photos in your entire collection ever deserved to be a wallpaper THIS WOULD BE IT !!!

Reminds me of an old and decaying antebellum, southern mansion.
