It was real and alive... he didn't make any noise or move too much until I got close to it, so it was kinda startling.
Was it a real racoon? A stuffed animal? If real, was it alive? I LOVE your work and I know I will find it haunting my own after having viewed your galleries, so thank you. On behalf of the future.

That streetlamp goes on and off every now and then... I don't think there's a light bulb left in that building.

I absolutely love the way you have been able to find these old photos and then have contrasted them with the same places as they currently stand. Most remarkable!

If that is true, why did these lights happen to turn on and off? This also happened in the front by the keep out signs

I agree with J.
I don't think a "God" had anything to do with this arrangement, persay, as much as MaDMaN's preposal of how it happened (which was a very clever one at that. He gets my applause.)
No matter how it was made, it's still quite interesting, and to me, it almost seems impossible, even if MaDMaN's explaination is true. It just looks really set up, but if it is natural...then oh my heck.
Nature is a very amazing thing.

I do not believe that the description is correct. The light is coming from a room that has windows to the courtyard. The steel roof access ladder was, with a sink, located behind the door directly ahead in the picture. I worked there in the 1970s.

I really like that angle for the picture! It makes it even more disorienting!

Nice shot, I really like it. It seems kind of sinister, indeed.

And I can see why too! The title really fits it. As soon as I saw this shot, I couldn't think of anything to say, except beautiful! It's really a breathtaking shot.
