NAACP never shut it down. The police station inside is long abandoned. It is policed daily by OMH, a security sanctioned by NYS, SCPD also watches over it, but there is no police station on grounds.

Building 93 was an infirmary which housed sick patients, many of whom probably bedridden. Could've been a staff coat room as well.
