Hey I have traveled inside of Building 7 many times, and that quote has always sent chills through my spine. It puts me at ease now that I know someone placed it there, but the quote still intrigues me!

You're not alone. I pulled the string hoping for soap, but a light came on instead.

The light coming in was from a skylight, all the other windows were very dark or boarded up, so in comparison to the well lit floor, the background looks black.

This may sound like a stupid question, but why is it so dark past those pillars??

Not to add onto the many comments about it being a soap dispenser...but i am in high school and we have those in the bathrooms. I can never figure out how to get the soap out though!!

This is a staircase in the power plant, so there wouldn't be any patients using it.

now are these stairs the stairs that the patients used to get around are was it like a emgerency stairway?

i actually looked up this poem and it describes, what i would imagine, living in a place like this is like...its a beautiful poem though scary at the same time...much like these pictures
