ive been to building 93 yesterday and after getting out, a mental health security guard saw us walking around the premises. he asked us if we had cameras but we didnt have any. He told us that the state is selling the land for $5 million dollars to anyone who wants it. He also said that those buyers have to clean it up...

I grew up in K.P the town not the hospital Looking at the pictures and reading brings back a lot of old memeries
Friends of mine did a lot of exploring. I was to chicken to go in any of the buildings I could tell yoy stories for hours about that place we never really had any where to hang out as teenagers with out the police hastleing us so off to the KPPC we all went to goof off
If you want to hear about being scared I could tell you
I remember useing the grounds to cut through from one side of town to the other. Lots of short cuts One day my friend toni ann and I were cutting through the grounds and we passed a scary looking man walking slowly with a shot gun We were on bmx bikes we were peddling as fast as we could there were crazy people hanging there arms out the bared windows yelling at us it was horrible. I never cut threw on foot or bike again.
I had a friend who used to bring a old crazy women wine and hand it to her threw the bars and she would give him money

"Old Main" at Northampton State Hospital was covered with ivy and other vines, then one day a groundskeeper went around cutting the vines off at their bases so they'd die. The place was abandoned so I don't understand it. Of course, they did grow back eventually. By the way, this kind of ivy stays green in the winter.
