It looks almost 3-D to me. The reflection of light just pops out. A wonderful shot, Motts!

Makes me wonder how many people have stood in this very spot and looked at this view as a patient.

...and what do you call a person who is afraid of people that are afraid of clowns?

Thanks John,

Interesting in that some of these booths look as though you could walk into them and power up the rectifiers or MG, and amplifiers, and have a picture.

I really like this web sight !!

Bob - there are several other galleries on Opacity that have photos of various projection equipment. Because there is so much here to look at I can't recall all of them.

However, I do recall one of the Byberry galleries has one such example.

The ceiling panels look like some are ready to fall. You'd be amazed how much water these things will hold before they fall. When they fall, they break up like dishes.

as far as torture goes, the only torture ever documented were cased of insulin shock treatments, electric shock therapy and pre-frontal lobotomies. and the milgram experiment was far from torture, just a test to see how far a normal person would go.

I agree Janice. Art Deco was very popular then. It amazes me that such detail was put into this theater. Not to say the patients wern't deserving of it.
This would be perfect for the cover of a
Black Metal Album
Looks like a figure standing on the grounds. Hope that is the photog.
Would make a good wallpaper. For the PC though not for the home.
