I would not want to walk through this hall with the water below and the lights above. Thanks for the gallery, Motts!

I suppose I will just add another "sad" along with the rest of you. I cannot really find the words to convey the meaning of this photo.

How sad that people have to come in and trash abandoned buildings with graffiti.

There is something overwhelmingly sad and morose about this photo. It reminds me of a graveyard of glasses left behind.

I would be a bit concerned that the big mirror was actually a mirrored video surveillance housing. You could put a dozen cameras in there.

yeah, they didn't stuck them neatly- but why did they bring it into one room at all? This stuff could have been left where it belonged to as well. I see no difference exept that it is more work to carry all that stuff onto one pile :D

I remember that there was a project in my village where you could bring your old glasses to a optican's store, and there the optican's trainees would repair them if neccesary and then the glasses where sent to a third world country. I mean: Although every glasses has an other lence, there's still a chance that used glasses find a person who can see better with these glasses- althought they are very unlikely to math perfectly to the individual eyes.

I'd expect the walls to get wet (or is the correct word dull?) and thus the electicity would get out of order because of the water that is in the walls... you know, water plus electicity and cabels is no good....
