'Sad' is totally inadequate. 'Depressing' doesn't quite fit. But I do know that seeing their faces (plus your info about next-of-kin contact) is definitely more heartwrenching than the glasses graveyard.

And someone needs to be facing a massive lawsuit for leaving so much confidential information literally lying on the floor.
