I constantly drive by this heading north on route 1 on the way to my friends house. You look over to the left and you can see it for miles on a good day. It is extremely creepy. Going up near there the dreaded feeling I get is weird. Thanks for the photos. Sad to say now when you look up you don't see the buildings anymore. I actually start to cry. Damn Avalon Bay. Thanks for the memories.

Hmm... I disagree. I always feel so trapped and alone when I look at this picture. Locked in a dark room and only able to look a better world and not be a part of it.

The place had to be demo'ed it was a dangerous derelict. It did however deserve a great deal more care than what went into it. It didn't need to be done on the cheap.

One Time, as a MA resident, I have to say, YOU suck. ;)

But seriously, MA is not responsible for demolishing Danvers. Pointing the blame at the state for letting go of the buildings doesn't solve the problem.

Even though the buidings are gone, you have given us a gift of memory, and thats the best thing to have.. These buildings will never be forgotten
