I grew up in Danvers and was in awe of the State Hospital. Even though it intimidated me a bit, I had a respectful regard for DSH. Truly, I do not understand why anyone would want to live in condos on that property -- especially knowing about the unmarked graves, etc. The souls/spirits at DSH cannot be liking the "progressive" plan. I would no more want to live there than on a known Indian burial ground. Is no ground sacred?!? Obviously, money is the motivation for the development . Sad, eh?

wow how some you dont bileve in ghosts i think the tape recorder is a good ideah EVPs or (electronic vois phenomona) is very good i think you would pick up somthing. use a digital one not analog you get the electric motor noise in tha analog ones. or an EMF detector sperits use electric enegry so any high reading would could very well be a sperit and especialy in this old building you wont have to worry about electric interference form outlets and stuff.. even if you dont beleve i think i would try it any way but thats up tou you.

i read an interveiw from a worker and he sed when he worked there they shut down one of the building and the maintinence used it for storage but one day they got a call and told them to turn off the heat to the abanden part of the building so they did but no one tuned off the water so they froze and burst and ruind every thing. he was also saying that he had to clean the boilers they would turn one off at a time and he would clime inside to clean each one he sed they where 100 degress in them and he had to scrub each pipe 1 at a time and could only spen 20 minut intervals in the boilers because it was so hard to breath. he was also saying that they had a 15 year old patent who climed up into the air ducts and slid down to the heating coils and burned up it took thema few days to find his buned body he sed he had to help cut it out.. he also was the one who cleand the water towers like once a monthe he sed he hated it
