Black doesn't show the bloody splatters as much as lighter colors. Don't have to clean it as often.

That's the giant lobster monster that lives in the lake. It eats the explorers and any body parts left behind by the zombies.

The roofs on many of these buildings are failing and this complex is starting to take a beating for it. Hopefully the 2012 plans for rehab and reuse will take place. This "remote lakeside location" is a very pretty place for a youth center.

You're seeing the brick wall that extends above the window ferdy. It is exposed due to the missing ceiling. It plays a bit of a trick on the eye.

Looky there, it's "Mr Warmth"! I can feel the love. Looks like more chunks of that thin board material that was on the wall. That CCCP emblem with a fellow holding a large sword and a child is quite interesting.

Hungry zombies were walled up in that corner. Whoever let them out got a big surprise! Stair end caps and stairs are a type of reinforced terazzo, and they would be embedded deep into the thick walls to hold it all up. Attachment points can now be seen for a full railing on all these stairs.

A water pipe from the wall extends above the trough, and a drain pipe comes down on the far end. Could have been used to wash numerous things. Soldiers, vegetables, body parts, underwear, brains, etc..

Cantilevered masonry steps with an iron stringer capping the ends? I see no attachment points for railings. Isn't that just the damnedest thing?

Using snakes to represent USA commercial health insurance companies is very appropriate! Josef Mengele would have been proud.
