Yeah, I was thinking it was for plants with the lights underneath it. Not sure about the rug though. Seems like an odd place for a nice rug....just some thoughts.....

Yeah creepy is the word for it. Just think if you were the patient on the other side of that door & its nighttime and your trying to sleep & than you turn to the door & see these eyes staring at you......I wouldn't be able to sleep a wink.....just too creepy for me.....ugh.....

Yeah, I'd say time has not been kind to this building but than yet it could be alot worse like impassable....ceiling falling in etc. The mold & the ceiling look really bad.....ugh. It does have that kinda creepy vibe to it all.....esp being close to Halloween & all.....great pic Motts!!!

Its ok.....but I don't like it that those doors are painted white, even on the glass....to me thats kinda creepy. Can you think back to the days when this hallway & all the others in this hospital when have been busy with many people & patients. It really makes one think of what these people must have went through......ponder that is......

Ooh, Greenskulker, good one on the Logans Run idea...I recall the movie & the short lived TV show. I guess they both had there moments. I see what your saying though.....but it does also look like a very large spiders web like someone else mentioned before....cool though......LOL

That tiled brick is amazing. I can't get over how nice it looks (and how much work it must have taken to construct this).

Again, it is amazing how consistent all the detailing is. Someone put a lot of thought into this place.

You made great use of perspective here. Makes the building look absolutely fantastic and haunting.

This isn't how I would have pictured the outside of the building. It's fabulous but seems to be from a totally different era.
