Thanks for the info Dianne, it's oftentimes tough to tell how the facility operated after they close down and clean everything out.

I worked there as an aide from 1969, summers and part time, until late 1972.

Interesting comment. However, it was the entire old wing aka "the back wards" that were reserved for more disturbed patients until it was all re-organized in the early 1970's.

He/she was probably napping. A family cop friend and also two professors I had who were cops, said that quite often, especially overnight shifts, they would just find a secluded, quiet place and just sleep. Many times it was near an intersection or something along those lines, so any cars that went by would be wary and slow down, etc. Meanwhile, they were snoozing the whole time, completely unaware of any cars or anyone...lol Nice.

I live right near those buildings. Me and my friends always go in them. There is woods behind them and a little while back they found an unmarked grave that was buried alone. They dug it up now. But the buildings that are left standing are pretty creepy. There is a doll in one of them. When my friend picked it up it scared the crap outta me. Even in the new buildings, the halls ways kinda scare me. They look sinister. My friends have told me they hear stuff but I never did. I wouldn't be surprised if it was haunted though.

Security is nice. For your own safety.
How are they supposed to know, if it´s kids wanting to set the place on fire, or some wanting just to share a spliff and chill out, or someone wanting to take pictures.
Of course same are good and nice and understanding! The way we humans are.
We also know that tight security saves a building! From a lot of trouble.
Awesome! Good-looking now, and even better looking after the renovation as Chestnut Green! Lovely, indeed. Thank you.
Endless! And all the brown leaves blown together ! And those hat-box lamps, plus two extra spotlights; that is cool. Like a lot indeed.
