I don't know about everyone else, or if anyone will even read this or understand it. But this thing reminds me of the desk in Brazil that was shared through a wall.

Doublebass,
A few yrs ago when I was living up in Canada, i worked for an auto parts packager and inspector( contracted out to Ford Canada) and the plant where we worked had a number of sinks like these all over the packaging floor. LOL sometimes there were 5 or 6 of washing all the nasty auto grease and debris off our hands, trying to get done before our pitiful breaks were over!

Strangely.....I really wish the hospital were still there. I want to go into the darkness, beyond the debris. Damn it Motts! I wish I were there with you!!!!

This photo pre-dates a movie I saw with the exact same "type" of shot. Motts, as well as everyone else who reads this, you need to see the movie "session 9".

Also, Motts, I'd like to accompany you with my gear to try to get some EMF readings and maybe record some EVP. Or, maybe you'd like to tag along during an investigation in my area!? Get in touch sometime: dmc5780@yahoo.com

OMG!!!!

I've been in that house!!!! Honest ta God!!! I can't believe you got a shot of that!!!! That house didn't have a tunnel connecting it. Just a basement with a butt-load of medical records. When we went in, the 1st floor was a mess. Kind of like a whirl wind had gone through the place. The 2nd floor was virtually untouched. Almost as if you expected someone to come home. I had my recorders going and captured some really good EVP, footsteps, someone laughing, someone crying...stuff like that. I went by the other day to visit my folks and took a detour...the place is gone. At least I have fond memories of keggers in the place after it closed!

That's just an old 'High Risk' room door. Those parts of the building wern't used when I worked there. In the early 80's FSH only housed Downs-Syndrom patients and wards of the State of MA. Looks like the East wing which ran North and South, connected to the East side of the main building.

Brenden, you're almost right. The different colors also represented the different 'wards'. During my stint there as a kitchen aide, that's all the different colors represent. However, earlier on (50's, 60's and 70's - when my grandmother was a nurse there) they were used to show the violence level of a patient and the corrosponding 'ward' they were in. Red was reserved for the 'Most Dangerous/Criminally Insane'. They were also broken down into 'Male/Female' groups.

Nope, all of my battery operated equipment has worked fine at all the places I visit, including cameras and flashlights (unless I drop them).

Yeah I passed by a month or two ago and saw they were gutting the place. The same is happening nearby at the former Danvers, Northampton, and Metropolitan State Hospitals.
