Heh, no I (the photographer) didn't put it there, and yes this doll has been changing places every so often as explorers come and go. It's origins are a mystery to me though.

i hope no one actually thinks this has anything to do with the ghosts at met state. it was either put there by people recently or maybe even by the photographer himself. if you ask me, this takes away from the true haunting going on at met state.
im sad its still being torn down

Lynne,
I had to add to this one, albeit late, according to popular opinion they dragged someone off the street made them dine off the floor in a falling apart dining room stuck them in autoclaves and mattress cleaners as torture and locked them up for weeks on end in the padded rooms while tying them to the floor then beating them senseless. Did I cover everything... No wonder everyone is crazy. <grin>

As a seperate note Mr. Motts Your website is my all time favorite. You combine two of my favorite things and then I read the comments and laugh my butt off half the time. The people I work with must be about to commit me...

Anyway thank you for everything you do to keep this site up and adding to it. Beautiful work!!!

Oops...I got out of the hospital on first of May. I always thought mental facilities had barred windows, however, the one I was in, it had small square window with wire mesh panes.

I have kept quiet on my tours of these few sites, the Severalls Asylum, the Hellingly Asylum, and the Metropolitan State Hospital, and on this pic, I have to say, I love the lone chair pics! Matter of fact I love all your pics. Of course since I been in the mental hospital from March the first 2006 til first of June 2006, I have not been around any computers! Then when I got out of the hospital, my computer crashed and been without one for three months, and now I have it back, working great, and enjoying the wonderful pics of Mott's!
