The light fixtures look a bit like olympic torches.
I guess that poor dead tree abused too many substances of its own.
The lush green in front of the stonework makes a gorgeous photo. The moss on the stairs will be very slippery.
What is that thing in front of the upper right window of the door? It is too low for a lamp and too far to the left for an automatic door closer.
I agree, Mr. Motts. I thought the downspout went through the stone landing to exit below the stairs but I don't think it does.
A mirror image, left side to right side.
I agree, Tony C. The windows and lamp are ornate and lovely. Are those marble steps?
You're right Mr. Motts, the details are lovely.
Simple angle, and yet beautiful and revealing the details.
Imagine someone putting that head in the window, maybe trying to creep people out. I wonder what that thick black cable is on the bars.
Love the ivy. Nice choice of angle with the two buildings.
I love fountains. Hopefully by now they have cleaned it out and put a stronger pump in it.
The little door DOES look intriguing. If someone were up there, maybe they could set both clocks so the hands were in the same position on both.
Lovely shot, and thanks for adding the historical pictures. They are also wonderful to see.
Wow, a new gallery. Lovely framing of the clock tower with the tree.
