When a psychiatric patient would become violent, they might be put in a room like this, where they could throw themselves around without hurting themselves or other people. The inset around the door made a soundproof seal so the other patients would not be disturbed.

that note says it all doesnt it. I WANT TO GO HOME...someone finally put to words what everyone in one of these institutions probably thought every day of their existance there. that really says it all i think . shame most of them never got to go home...........

seeing this theatre in pristine condition proves that constant patrol of the area keeps the vandalism down.a refreshing sight

I used to work at a movie theater that had been converted from a Vaudeville theater....before we carefulyy constructed a new theater out of what used to be the backstage area we all got a tour....it was incredible to feel the energy of all the people that once performed there. I didn't want to go into the dressing rooms underneath the stage....I'd been told there was a sizeable jumping spider population down there....EIW!!! YICK!!!!
