I'm with eldokid on this.
Love it, a new gallery and I'm not terribly late coming.
the fact the lights are still on would have told me to hightail it out of there and quick!
Is it possible these radiators were against a wall that had been taken down or removed to make the room larger? That would explain the location of them now. They almost always put radiators against walls and not in the open like this.
Privacy? I sure wouldn't want to be in one tub and have someone so close in another, whether we were covered or not.
I forgot to thank you for the historical photos at the beginning. Your research for text and finding old photographs showing the history of the locations is always much appreciated, Mr. Motts.
You tripped an alarm and had the cops running after you? Wow, heart-stopping. Thanks for another great gallery Mr. Motts. Abandoned psychiatric hospitals are my favourite too.
The door to the right has two slide-bolts - one in addition to the door handle lock wasn't enough!!!? I agree, the corridor looks endless and makes a great photo looking all the way down to the door at the very end.
Not much privacy.
Room 9 has a little post-it sign saying Room 14.
Nice and bright and clean looking. I agree with Mona, though - kindof creepy.
Female stand-up urinals - thanks for the info, I'd never heard of them before now. I've heard of bidets - those weren't bidets were they?
Did the fireplace ever work? It looks like the back of it has been bricked up.
Another very small room.
Odd that it seems like the door handles and locks were cut out of the door even taking the side of the door with it, rather than unscrewing them.
