Ugly. Like you said, autoguy, the transoms are filled in. I suppose they had to make it as bland as possible. Mental patients here didn't deserve to enjoy beauty.

Going up the stairs to where? For some reason, Pink Floyd's "We Don't Need No Education" came to mind.

I worked in a drug and alcohol treatment center and this kind of intimidation and manipulation was never used. Actually, I think it will have the opposite effect of what they hope to accomplish with persons who have weak consciences and low self-esteem.

I always look forward to your new galleries, Motts. Your adrenaline must have been kicking in at a high rate!
I've never seen this model before, but I love the shot!
That is a "Standard" Madstone, simply a floor mounted male urinal. Female urinals are incredibly rare but unmistakable, they jut out from the wall quite long and are real narrow so she can straddle her legs around it. But what proper lady wants to do that now ;-) _Robert B.

Your story reminds me of the time I and a friend and several classmates (I was in 7th grade at the time) decided to explore a, currently in use, very large high school in Philadelphia. We did not get away! The cops nabbed all of us, seven all total including 3 girls and a baby carriage. Yes these crazy girls lifted a baby carriage thru the open window!!! My father was very angry he had to come and get me from the police station. My mom thought it was funny as hell! Thanks for another great round of fantastic pictures. Take care.

The emptiness is endless.....
Excellent shot.
