If you examine all the prints, some are quite long * last one near bottom right*... some no thumb, *on door* some with fingers that are not right at all, *last one on left*, looks as if it has 5 fingers and a thumb. Interesting!

I don't think so, this type of door knob would continue on the other side, and the seclusion rooms here had flush doors on the inside.

I'd guess the room was used for storage that was desirable to the clients (personal effects, cigarettes).
