Cold and impersonal. The yellow color is better than the other colors they used though.
The arched window is stellar!
Very nice perspective on this stairwell.
Are these actual hand prints or are they stuck on/painted on? This is really strange.
Love the arch over the doorway, giving it a sense of extra height. The hand prints are kind of eerie. The glow is gorgeous.
They need help with color combinations. Nice shot through shattered glass. So nice to see a new gallery!
Yes, agree Iceberg, beyond me too, as usual.
" Villages at Staunton" nearby; the old Western State Hospital, is very well developed now and ongoing into future. Just awesome.
Must be a reason: May be DeJarnette has a lot of asbestos thus making it too expensive to save????
Fine shot - fine building.
10 points.
Now that is a well-built net-fence if it is over 80 years old. Yes. The detail around the base of column is awesome. A very nice place to be, methinks, still. Like. Fine picture.
Guess Probably full of asbestos, that is way it is abandoned, dilapidated and decaying.
A Mean And Inexpugnable Door.
Room Without Charm and Delight.
YES - creepy, indeed, and the decumbent fingers - primitive - to make print of the hand like this. Picture is good. Like a lot.

I have so been hoping you would eventually post pictures of this place. Thank you!
Black handiness - what were they thinking? Conducting pranksters?
It is a very well-balanced beautiful doorway. Pretty.
