Hi Mica. I was wondering if you had forgotten about us.
I am watching this documentary "Zimbelism" on TBD channel. I have antenna TV and it is really interesting about this photographer I never knew about, George Zimbel. So I looked it up and here it is on a free site https://tubitv.com/movies/399200/zimbelism
I thought all you guys might enjoy it.

Mica,
If you reference DSH post and work it out seems like someone changed their minds after the plans were approved, the frame built but the floor not yet in, and the floor was lowered. If the floor was even with those bump outs that window would be entirely in the floor below.

I guess those grandchildren don't recall how to use a plug and fill the bowl before dipping their hands in.
Yes, all above, concur, and thank You so much for all the information and the B/W pictures - makes all better - thoroughly enjoyed even though 2nd. pic. a mumified dog/cat? I soon forgot about it - and the over all feeling is happy and light all these wonderful peels, and hues/shade/tints from old days. And there were LAMPS, haha.
Bless + may You always be well is a daily wish.
Beauty Teeth + rust of excellent hue -
Yes thank you so much for information. And the B/W picture. Makes all so good.
I like the lamps. They seem to be pink? But i could be wrong.
Yes that spiral staircase really is so much fun.
Yeah. Scratched with a key. Someone else agreed and added to the opinion.
"Come over here from over there, girl. Sit down here. You can have my chair" (Bob Dylan) Yellow was a popular color. Imagine - they had a comfortable armchair.
Yeah - remember that picture so well and there were more pictures, of droppings, methinks.
Huge room indeed - guess we will never know how used.
Got heavy safein - and still here it is rusted shut.
We have the pianos, the safes and The Lone Chairs left behind.
That low window to the right /middle of pic./ I do not understand at all.
Yeah - but remember also, Tony C, we did a lot of screens back in the days; and sometimes it is good enough for certain privacy.
