I saw a similar building on a book I once read. This reminds me of that book, which was about a teen girl being forced b y her father into an asylum out of fear she would end up like her mother. It makes me shiver to think that is what new patients saw....It seems so unwelcoming and cold.
im a whittingham had no clue about all this stuff with my last name . lol
such wonderful buildings with a tale to tell in each one
how sad these things are just left to rot they tell such stories of time gone by

black and white photos are much better and they stand out more and make it look more old and creepy for the place it is and i think from last time i saw it it has realy changed and i hope that it get more arty for more picturs in the futer
