Thats no joke. One wing was renovated and used by MA dep. Of youth services. 1st floor classrooms, intake, kitchen, 2nd and 3rd they had the living spaces / cells . Place is deff haunted. Spent 7 months here in 2003 / 2004 . Saw and herd some strange shit here. Very depressing, miserable, disgusting conditions. Very sad honestly

Beautiful shots of a Kirkbride. There was one in Pontiac, MI, near where I grew up. They tore most of it down years ago. Regret to think what was lost. The building loomed over the city and I still miss seeing it when I get a chance to pass that way.
