I thought that was part of the wall at first until I looked upwards and saw it is a light hanging there.
Can you imagine ALL THREE of those bulbs falling out at the same time? I think I would have a heart-attack! I would be afraid to even walk in there at all. You are a braver soul than I, Mr. Motts.
Wow...I think my Grandma had one of these chairs way back when! She has pictures of herself in a chair that looks suspiciously like these. :D
I thought of candles too...then I thought...how colorful lol. The ones in the back sort of remind me of the chairs I used to sit in when I was in elementary school...except those were rounded at the top.
My first thought was medivial torture device...than I also thought: OOOOH! We can rotisserie a whole LOT of chickens on this thing lol!
Stryker...Stryker..Stryker... (SMACK) lol...
I grew up with that movie! We have it on DVD and watch it every now and then! Can you believe Leslie Nielsen is gone? He died late last year. :( He will be sorely missed as an actor!
First those tiles...what the heck? It seems like everything else is decaying and these tiles look like they just came out of a commercial for The Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner! Toot...that comment made me laugh seriously. My kids came in to see what I am laughing at. :D
Secondly...Wheel tracks and NO FOOTPRINTS...now THAT is spooky! Would tracks survive for 40+ years without being covered in dust that is still hanging around and probably all the other stuff floating around in this place?
Thirdly...LONE WHEELCHAIR SHOT. It is looking for its friends and got lost...poor wheelchair!!!
This is ONE LONG CORRIDOR that is for sure. I just had a mental pic of Mr. Motts opening that door to a bustling ward full of people...I can almost see his face..."ooops! Ehh...HI?" LOL!
Aw...lonely piano shot. I bet this sounded gorgeous in its hey-day. It is so sad to see such a beautiful instrument of art be forgotten and left to rot. :(
3...2...1...BLAST OFF!
Love the paint-squares on the wall. :) Very art-deco!
