Ahhhh....

This reminds me of the seclusion rooms in the hospital I was in as a teen...

I never got thrown in one (thank goodness) but I have seen my roomates and friends put into a room like this...
I can almost feel the people here...sadness, despair...and hope.
This is almost peaceful...
Nice. :)
What an old doorknob! The red rust really does catch your eye.
WHERE IS THE SOAP DISPENSER????

Did you steal it???

*Goes away sobbing into a corner*
Wow...talk about feeling lonely and ALONE...

Something about the angle this is shot at makes me think of all my time in Psych hospitals. They all had at least one loooong hall like this...time stretching on and on in front of you. Time passing so slowly, yet the rest of the world has no idea of how long a day can really be...
That bed makes me sad for some reason...

What nightmares were had by the person who had slept here all those many years ago??

I don't want to even TRY to imagine...
Love the streaks coming down from the sky...almost like tornadoes are coming to eat this building up...or the building is sending tornadoes out to do its bidding...

This is Halloween....This is Halloween...makes me think of Jack Skellington and all those characters...
I too thought of an old woman with stringy hair...seems fitting that an old building such as this would look old and haggard...but I still think it is beautiful and foreboding at the same time.
I like the lighting on this. I think it brings out the beauty of the buidling and it does look almost angellic in a way. Great shot!
I agree with bunch-of-symbols-for-the-name...this is creepy and thos lights look awfully almost "modern" compared to the rest of the place.

I could be wrong though!
Wow...I can't imagine going into this room...

I'm skeered now...
Whoa...it is so easy to imagine something coming out of the shadows at you in this picture...

*Growl* I AM COMING FOR YOUUUUU!*

*Eep.* This makes me sad though...how much laughter and good times had been had here...even with the mental illness, I imagine this was a HAPPY place for staff and residents alike.
LOVE the deep blue against the reddish of the building. VERY nice shot!
