LOL Larry....shhhhh don't wake it! It may attack!

I love how the cracks in the paint in the first room make it almost look like trees growing in the room...and then the other room looks like just what the title says: fire. :) Very warm-looking.

Forest and volcanoes...Parks and buildings on fire...

I wax poetic today.

Gosh, this place has an awful lot of boxes in it.
OK...who stole the soap???

Is that a HOLE in the back of the sink or is that just rust? Use some heavy-duty cleanser and some elbow grease and you've got yourself a pretty nice-lookin' sink! :)
Yes, thank you for turning a rotten, miserable morning into a great one! I can't help but wonder why someone hasn't bought this place and turned it into something residential, either senior or otherwise. It's a magnificent place. (wish I knew where it was!!)

At some point, they covered over/blocked up the transom window over the door. How odd with the round window in the door. The thing near the floor to the left of the door is, I think, a piece of wood so they could screw the power receptacle to it, the power receptacle being the rectangular black thing.

Love this! Was that a little brown book on the shelf or something else?
A door inside a door...inside a door...

I think our basement door looks just like that...well, except for the missing doorknob lol.

Cool. Love the colors!

I agree, Larry D.
Do you suppose there is anything buried in that cornerstone, like a time capsule from when the place was built? How cool would that be to find?!
I too love the pattern of cracks in the paint on the wall! It almost looks like an art-deco kind of wallpaper. :)

Mr. Motts, now haven't I told you many times to pick up your books and put them back on the shelf when you are done with them???

(Heehee!)
Stone buildings are my favorite, more so than brick.

There's the soap dispenser shot (in the bathroom at the back). With all this paper around, it is a very lucky thing not to have a fire! (No, I'm not a nut case, I'm a volunteer fireman.)
How grand is this place, it would make a magnificent residence!
YAY! I think Mr. Motts heard our moans of despair for another gallary! :D

The walls almost have a greenish-blue hue to them...very spooky and mysterious and even sad.
