I haven't been back to Henryton; I think I enjoyed the odd duotone colors painted throughout the buildings the most, but as you say it's probably all behind spray paint these days. Thanks!

Love this gallery. Have you been back to Henryton since these shots were taken? The level of vandalism and destruction is down right disgusting. I went for the first time probably 10 years ago...and have been back a few time in recent weeks, and it's just sad. Still like exploring, and taking pictures...SOME of the "art work" can make for some interesting photos...but not usually. I'm going to try to get to Rosewood soon...but I think because it's a little more heavily guarded, we (my friend and I) may try to ask for permission to photograph.

Anyway, great stuff here. Very good work.
I AM SO HAPPY WITH YOUR PHOTO COLLECTION AND IT'S DETAILS,SO PLEASE MORE ATTATCH THAT TYPES OF PICTURES IN THIS SITES I LIKE IT.

THANK YOU

i live right near where henryton is.
it's really beautiful, and it's so sad that it's falling into such a bad state.
if anyone is interested, the non-profit group save henryton has been trying to purchase the property for a while so they can restore and preserve it, but they haven't been able to.

it reminds me of the room in Alice in Wonderland where the room gets smaller and smaller as she walks

Hey Larry D

Baker miller is a shade of pink thats used for it's effects on mood and behavior. It has a calming effect that helps suppress anger, anxiety and aggression.

I think that's what David is referring to, sort of....

IF U LOOK THROUGH THE DOORS IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS SOMEONE IN THE MIST
That's what our dryer looks like, only ours is that nasty 70's green.
My hubby's grandparents ran a dry cleaners downstairs from our apartment. There are a few of these down there along with huge industrial washers and dryers. We use one of the dryers along with our regular size washer. It fits 2-3 loads of laundry in it with room to spare.
I'm not in the mood for Boston Market, how does Kentucky Fried Vulture. . . I mean Chicken, sound?
OK, I know that it has been established multiple times that the bag is fake, but wouldn't it make you wonder that if the bag was real, what happened to the blood? That would make me wonder about the sanity of some of the staff there.

The history of ametek can be found here http://www.fundinguniv...Company-History.html . Interestingly the American Machine and Metals, Inc in E. Moline, Ill. (which was later renamed Ametek) is also listed as a Department of Energy legacy site where nuclear remediation was done.
What lens did you use for this? I Love it.
