i have been to henryton plenty of times now and the building not even the stories have made me want to come back for more its can be a little creepy at first though

I'm guessing no one really has a logical guess on what it is on the toilet seat? How about this then since I have worked in a Geriactric Home and the history of this building is one of may uses" it could be a safety harness. Like if an older person has trouble using the restroom but still wants to hold on the their dignity a little and not use a "Depends" or ask for help the hospitals have them so the facilities can be used with no assistance and still be safe at the same time. Wow! The ignorance of some people is astounding to me sometimes.
