That tape has held fast for a lot of years. The hand written note is another great example of Mott's eye for the smallest detail.

I've never seen such bright colors in a hospital. It has a child-like atmosphere. Sort of like a day care center. It's very pretty though.
Very nice surprise this morning finding this new gallery!
Merry Christmas Motts!
I think you are right Meri. Looks like its tipped over.
My mom did too! It was in the basement. She called it a mangle.

Love the colors, and the doorway to...wonderful shot.
Was this a porch for TB patient to get sun? Looks like only two full doorways onto this porch in this shot. I know that sun and fresh air was the treatment in the beginning. Gorgeous.

These must have been here forever judging from those rusty hangers & that rusty closet rod. That peeling paint looks like open wounds. Motts, your attention to the small details in a structure is amazing. You take a lifeless old building & remind us that this was once used & inhabited by people. These silent & peeling walls witnessed happiness & sorrow. Laughter & tears. Daily life & even death. You're incredible photography captures all this perfectly.
The colors change as the lighting changes.
