This reminds me of that one funky tunnel in Zelda!
And yes, thank you Jacob Morgan, for the link.
A good picture of a beautiful old printing press, and an interesting thread. Life is sweet. What could be better?
May you A L L always be well is my daily wish, and blessed be Mr. Motts, forever, and always safe, too.
Probably Horsehair.
Feathers and down; expensive. Hair of the Horse; cheap!
Really common for ages.
The pillow stuffed with horsehair is heavy and no fun for pillow-fighting.
We still have a few old mattresses + pillows stuffed with horsehair in the attic, for fun + nostalgic reasons. The are app. 80 yrs.old and have not lost shape or comfort. They always feel warm really fast.
Sweet chairs...

The grounds are well kept; the mow the lawn!
Thank you Mr. M.
Love this picture! Keep coming back! Can´t help myself, hahaha!
It has a soul! A Complex whole. It has it AL! Beauty, and thrilling excitement. Imagine "knowing" a building like this! Awesome.
Thanks, Mr. M. Am happy!
The top windows did not get the arch. Great trick; it makes it all more interesting to admire and look at. Love this!
Yes LAMP, FTW!
WOW! They built for beauty; with absolutely the best intentions. It went some wrong. Yes, things do go wrong with us humans, on all different levels.
Found the double window of those special "2-radiator" rooms - way up top, left & right!
Thank you for this pic. Can´t stop smiling. Yer da bestest, Mr. M.
Am so happy you show this picture!
Human beings in a nutshell! Not liking to take responsibility, me neither, hahaha!
It is just nice to ponder.
" Hey, what about the Xerox?"
"Naw,, who cares? Too heavy. Too much hassle. Just leave it!"
Yes, maybe it is still being paid for. Would not surprise me!
Good picture.
How splendid! This was a warm room back in the days, only one radiator. Sunny! It is still lovely despite the boarded up windows and the decay. Imagine this as a dining room, with a huge table, by those wondows, and the lovely view!
Well done.
