This is an old steamer for cooking food. It looks like one that was made by Market Forge Ind in Everett Massachusetts

thomas i totally agree also all the waste letting these beautiful buildings just waste away a lot of the stained glass and tile and tin roofing doors etc could have been taken out and sold by the government a lot of that old decor is very valuable and people do buy it at high prices maybe would offset our government deficit by millions but of course its not their money its the taxpayers... what a waist all the way around,,,,,,, Mott keep up the beautiful work just found ur sight and find it simply amazing i envy ur travels be safe

looks like the typical haunted house style everybody always imagines, very elegant and imposing at the same time, I LOVE THIS BUILDING! looks very fairy tale! I would love to move here and clean it up!

this is an example of Gothic Revival style of design, this is my favorite. I love the angular design its a very elegant and strong at the same time. very timeless!

The blue light is thought to keep a mental patient calm. we use them in the back of ambulances. If you ever see the back of an ambulance glowing blue, there is a mental patient inside. Usually transporting a suicidal patient.
