In England we list buildings of national or archetectural beauty or importance. This building would qualify in spades!

And, we're not morons, we paint because we try to enhance the already bleak and ugly in Detroit. There are a lot of masterpieces throughout the city that go hand in hand with your urban exploration.

MCS has been used a lot lately for filming movies. In 07-08 when they put the huge fence surrounding the building, they added beams and whatnot for other possible uses of the building.
