yo im 12 turnin 13 soon and i say that s**** is scary!! evem if there wasnt any police i still wouldnt go in there. i read all these stories on the internet in 5th grade about this place and saw pics of it. me & my friend were supossed to be doin a social studies project but instead we read the stories and saw the pics of this place. i cant believe u ppl went in there werent u scared?

I was in one of these buildings when it was still functioning. It had a creepy feeling even then! Durning Halloween, one of the buildings is turned into a haunted house...or at least used to be, I have since moved from the area. Wonderful pictures!

The most I've seen was a wee little mouse, only once, in the catacombs. there's nothing left for rats or anything else to eat in there, the place is nothing other than steel and concrete, and a bit of wood.

Yes, please refrain from using terminology such as that. It can be very insulting to those of us who have close relatives who have mental retardation and developmental disabilities. It may not be intended but I take a personal offense to comments like that.
