they're serving tables. there was probably some sort of sneeze-guard set up between the posts, and the hole at the end is for drainage.

the oldest building now standing, the upper floor is whats known as the ballroom. GD opened the cornerstone and the metal box inside only to discover its contents completely submerged in ages of water. later we went back to retreive the wheat pennies found in all the cornerstones

Thanks... nah I didn't mess with the colors or use a filter. It might be sunlight filtered through the vegetation on the windows.

another interesting note is that this was the last building to be built on this part of the property but is in the worst condition of any of the buildings on the entire property. me and GD came to the conclusion that the materials used to construct it were diffrent than any of the C buildings. the walls seem to be a plaster material, instead of the usual cement and tile. this was probably due to the transition of ownership between city and state

me and goddog recently found the top portion of the eleveator mechanism has been opened up and in excelent shape. i took a picture and i beleive its the finest picture i have ever taken. i turned it mono, blew it up to an 8X10 and framed it. it was made by the Otis Elevator Co. who designed the first elevator in 1853. upon closer inspection on the underneath, we found the floor was wooden
