I just read Anna's story and I dont have any words to explain my feelings. It is horrible that such a beautiful talented person like Anna slipped through the cracks and died a lonely death. Her life was poetic and I hope her death set her free into the happiness that she always wanted.

i was there last night... there's so much to take in, in one night, this place is more than just one trip... you have to go here multiple times to be able to see everything, either that or stay for 10 hours. so which building is the morgue in? one of the taller bulildings? and in a basement? or... what, i know it's hard to explain since theres over 10 buildings.

Thank you, and yes I do hope to visit the UK and/or Scotland sometime soon to photograph the asylums there.

Heyy guys. recently found ther opacity site and being an occassional (well, a little more then occassional) visitor of dearest byberry, id figured id comment.

first off - this pictures are fanastic. very dramatic and theatrical at times. whoever took these knows their camera.

second off - ive taken home a few souveniers from byberry. my growing list of stuff includes a medicine bottle and a patient restriction form. theyre both pretty cool i think.

im gonna keep lookin through pictures. these are awesome and take me to byberry without my half hour drive. :) rock on guys. i <3 byberry

Now that is a perfect setting for a creepy film if ever I saw one!

Am just seeing the "good guy" running up the staircase and getting to the balcony where that rope or something is dangling, then out comes the "baddie" from the shadows and throws him over the edge, or maybe something more sinister involving the rope!
