It looks like it should be a painting.Odd that something that is a photo and real can appear so surreal.
Hallway to the netherworld.
I know I'd feel weird walking through that thing, especially in the dark with only a flashlight.Very creepy.
The chaos and disarray in this room is like a mirror to the chaos in the minds of many of the poor patients here.
Yes I really would like to see more stories from CJ like this one.
I think it is also the lighting in the picture and the fact we know this is an abandoned insane asylum that gives it a horror movie feel aswell. This same door in a bright, modern, working facillity might not convey the same thoughts.

I ate an Italian Hoagie from Wawa here with Red Dragon on our 11 hour trip. Had a beer too. It's a cool place.

Aflac is the nom-de-plume of a really cool dude that we're all friends with. If you met him, you'd like him.

I admit that grafitti is just a waste of time, but in this case it adds to a feeling of hopelessness. The building's been sitting here rotting away for years and years, and you can see the years and years of grafitti that's been added. It's like a timeline of wasted youth.

It's weird how just a simple door can project such a scary and creepy and spine-tingling feeling. I think it's the vent in it....that just reminds me of some horror movie or something.
