Wow, nice floor too! ...Possibly just as difficult to brick all that as painting. I imagine the brickwork everywhere saved the place from a good amount of damage that would have been suffered by plaster. (St Louis even has museum areas in the surplus "mall storefront" space, would be fitting here too.)
