Leave only footprints folks. Allow the next explorer the same opportunity to discover. To "expose" this would put the building in greter jepordy of being brought more to the public's attention and possibly denying a peek inside the of psychiatry in America.
So weird, I had a dream featuring this place a year ago. Except I was in the hospital-the doctors were in here having meetings about the patient's cases.
A great space, such a shame. I love the windowed alcove. Too bad this place didn't reincarnate like what's been done to alot of old factories in MA-made into condos or apartments.

I give props to all those that are restoring these structures, I've seen the main website and seen some of the transformations which is really cool. I never went to the Enchanted Forest but I did go somewhere like it about the same time this place closed - it was in Wisconsin Dells and was probably called something like "Storybook Land." They had a lot of similar things, so its really neat to see that this is being restored.

AAARGGHH!! So now this has turned into my English class, eh? LOL no I don't mind, its just eerily reminiscent...

XD ;-)
Well, the ones who did this didn't stop there! That wasn't good enough for them! They kept going,on to other structures as The 3 Little Pigs' Brick House, defacing the roof over the doorway! It takes away from the childhood innocense while the fools who did it just care to laugh and have fun at others' expense while walking away and giving the finger!Their attitude;our fun had, your problem now !
I'm an airbrush artist who assisted in relocating and restoring the pieces..there IS no art in this!Only abuse and foul play!

Yup it is a pretty creepy place, though when it was running I don't think it looked so foreboding.I find it ironic that alot of these old asylums are some of the most beautiful buildings built yet when they were functioning no one would want to live in them.
I remember my mother having one of these type bikes,an adult sized one ofcourse. It was this really awful shade of orange. Why did people like such ugly colors back in the seventies?
