I dunno... I find it much more calming. Basically because of the sense that it's overcast outside, and the fact that I grew up down the street from a place that was an old clock tower, so, I guess I'm imposing childhood memories on this too. :P

It would be cool to distort the color of this shot to enhance the green. Normally, I'm a purist and don't like shots being altered, but I think highlighting the green would really make this shot pop your eyes out! :)

I love the fact that this shot is timeless. The building could be 1,000 years old or 50 years old.

They are sumac trees. There is no mistaking it.

Shytown got his bubble bursted I figure. A locust tree is a hardwood with much smaller and rounded leaves. Nasty thorns on them also.
