Seems as though if it were a kitchen area, there would be some stainless steel kitchen equipment somewhere in the room or places in the floor that look like equipment sat there once?

What was inside?

The water used to come up to the two giant slanted pipes right past the cart. It started out from not-even-an-inch all the way up to five-plus feet.
If that hole from the first boiler room up into the haunted hallway wasn't there, there'd be no access to the "C" buildings from the inside. It was there in the early 90's when I first went that way.

I don't think it was, unless the facility was originally a children's TB hospital but I haven't read anything of the sort. The drawers just seem very fragile for regular adult usage.

No funny comments from me on this one. It would be sacreligious! This is one of the first pictures I remember, and it literally took my breath away. I sat and looked at this picture for over an hour before I could do anything else again. Motts, you've never taken a bad picture (that we know of), but this here is the million dollar shot!
