Leaving aside what happened inside those walls for the moment, the architecture alone should have ensured that building was never touched (in fact, it should have been cared for and preserved, and never allowed to deteriorate into the sad condition it was in to begin with). Yes, the developer is greedy, and represents, in my opinion, all that is wrong with society today, but so is the state, and I believe the majority of the blame lies with those short-sighted fools at the state level who could have and should have preserved this beautiful piece of history. I thought being on the historic regsiter meant something. Apparently it doesn't when stacked up against the almighty dollar.

Thank you, Motts, for providing us the last glimpse we will get of this wonderful, singularly unique property before it's gone forever.

Yeah, it's a pretty unfounded accusation. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

To whom it may concern,

I've gotten an email claiming this photo is someone else's, this "NoX" person...

I don't know why these claims are being made, but every photo in the galleries on this site were taken by myself, with the exception of Drew's Northampton morgue shot, which was credited and given permission to use.

This accusation is incredulous and false. I have the high resolution file, with the time, date, camera make and model, as well as four witnesses who were with me that day. Why would I steal one shot from someone else?

I have a color version with EXIF data embedded in: http://www.opacity.us/...ent/byberry_exif.jpg

If you want to press a lawsuit, bring it on dude. Otherwise, you're a sorry excuse for a person to try and pull this shit. Have a nice day.
