If this incredible building had been in Europe and had been destroyed during WW II, it would have been rebuilt after the war. Most in this country have no respect for the Architecture and beauty of the past.
this stuff seroiusly isnt funny ....i go to school like ight by there and i wlakwed in to the morge and the crematory one day and its pritty sick shit ....nothing to laugh about ...the mentally retatred werent treated nice and they deff werent comforted
well it does seem like it would say "death" but theres no a and it looks like there could have been more to the left but either way, this picture gave me the chills
Sumpin' like "Pay attention, here is where nosocomial infections arise," which are diseases one picks up while in the hospital (as opposed to having them before you were admitted to the hospital).
That movie's amazing.. Which, of course, might sound strange coming from a 15 year-old girl (considering most teens don't like ol' black and white films)....
haha good point Andrew. Although I think you'd have to have a prolonged exposure to those things for them to have any effect on you.
wow, it looks like this floor has no limits. It just fades off into darkness. We see the factory at it's peak (during time of operation) in the foreground, as time goes by, it empties out, and darker it gets down the hallway, and eventually, all is lost, the facility is closed, and there is nothing but solemn darkness.
"there are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors..." fantastic pic motts you are inspiring!!! I was checking out the outside of Buff State Hospital today!!! (In the bright sunlight!!!) :)
wow, that facility was massive! and i love the comparison that goes throughout the years. gives some great insight as to what went on here, and now through Mott's photograph we see the same spot in a dark time indeed, nearing it's demise. I agree with the people who say it looks like an abandoned city as well. Awesome perspective.
