These are not that scarey! I never wanted them to kill me off. I sleep in a smaller type now, but I have slept in one of these ones. The iron lung sounds like a train a bit when it's on. I have a fuuny story. I was about 8 years old when I was in it. I woke up in the middle of the night to find the collar up to my nose. The lung sucked me in. I yelled NURSE! Not sure how the laws differ by state. Here in NE, if someone is injured while trespassing on your land, you are liable, even though they are breaking the law. Of course, if you "accidentally" shoot them while out hunting, well, that's a different story! :D
