There was a relatively recent lighting installation at the Pines in the 80s with a patch panel and some dimmer packs downstage right. The lights in the picture above were actually part of a tacky strip light that was purposely visible to the audience and ran behind the performers. There is actually an older stage BEHIND the "new" one from waaaayyyy back when.

I used to love those lights on the walls to the left and right side of the stage that formed the shape of stars. They coordinated with these tacky strip lights running across the back of the stage... and for some reason... this is what I remember from the Pines night club! Also, the M.C. used to introduce himself from offstage right, which was absolutely hysterical. Ahhh, the memories!
