i was just in this building today...a little creepy... its got underground tunnels and it is SO dirty now... there's seriously like a half inch of dirt that fell from the ceiling on the floor...

Well, that hospital won't be Byberry. Today's Inquirer reported that Byberry is being torn down and the property being developed into housing and office space. Byberry had 23 buildings with 1.5 million square feet of space!

i hav a question do the people who go in there to mess around mess up the place or was this place like this and people just take pics of it?

yo im 12 turnin 13 soon and i say that s**** is scary!! evem if there wasnt any police i still wouldnt go in there. i read all these stories on the internet in 5th grade about this place and saw pics of it. me & my friend were supossed to be doin a social studies project but instead we read the stories and saw the pics of this place. i cant believe u ppl went in there werent u scared?

Well, from all the varied opinions here I'd just like to say: Without looking to past however will we learn from our mistakes?

Past events, whether good or bad, shouldn't be discarded just as focusing on how things are now shouldn't be either. And Lynne, I got to say, I highly respect what you do.

As for the photo, it's very intriguing and very well done.
