Motts, that is scary. But im gonna make a ride in my themepark of that hospital. And it is cal THE LEGEND OF THE FORBIDING HOSPITAL . Its about the AsyLUm came out

I love all the pictures on this site, especially of places like Danvers, which I used to live near.
My husband and I took a drive to the ocean Monday and stopped by Danvers on our way home, it is so unreal to see it just a shell of what it used to be.
The main entrance paving has been all torn up and it is just bizarre to look up and not see anything.
We drove around to a road not far away where you can look right across at the front of the admin building, again, it was so weird to see.
All that is left is the front wall of the main admin building and the two immediate wings.
The water tower is still standing, for now.
I don't quite know why, but looking at it filled me with a sense of loss and sadness.

I would LOVE this picture, with the caption, "Yet again, Derek's farts have ruined another chair". Derek is my husband and his farts could possibly do this to a chair,lol.

Beautiful. The combination of the color and the medallions puts me in mind of Louis IV period decor, or a similar period.
Definitely looks french, love the soft blue.

It's so beautiful even in the process of decay, imagine what it looke like when it was still being cared for.

The funny thing is, it does look like a bladder ready to burst, kind of like me in the morning after my Starbucks kicks in!
I pity the poor person this particular "bladder" bursts on,lol.

I wonder.....how did you feel while in the hospital? Did you pick up on any energies? Did you feel any of the sorrow or pain that must still be present in such a place. Thankyou for sharing part of it with me. Enjoyed it much.

As Lynne posted ,with links, the architecture was specifically designed with the well-being of the resident's in mind. Adam A, I can only imagine the A stands for ass, to make such an ignorant, callous remark.
So I suppose in your fine estimation all the "crazies" should have been put in sterile looking buildings, perhaps like military barracks? Hmmmmm, yes, I can see where THAT would be therapeutic!
Believe it or not, they are people who feel, just like you and me. Ok, well, more like me I suppose but there you are.
